The Mickaela Foundation provides treatment funds for uninsured breast cancer patients in Colorado.
We are also very active in providing information and resource links for those uninsured persons showing symptoms or suspicions of an impending breast cancer diagnosis. The earlier the diagnosis, the higher the survival percentages.
First - Don't Panic! Over 90% of lumps found in the breast are benign. But don't take that as an excuse not to have it checked out. Better safe than the 10%! If you are diagnosed with breast cancer, please contact The Mickaela Foundation. Even if your situation doesn't match our criteria, we will do our best to direct you to where you can find help.
